WHAT YOU WILL ACHIEVE

Your role is crucial in making sure that the supply chain operates smoothly, overcoming obstacles, and continuously innovating to meet the demands of healthcare.

HOW YOU WILL ACHIEVE IT

  • Cycle counting and inventory reconciliations for warehouse environments, including off-site 3PL location(s).

  • Support Investigations and help resolve QAR's and data integrity issues.

  • Participate in internal, customer, and regulatory audits.

  • Check, review, replace and file logs and temperature recordings.

  • Enter data in systems and file reports (internal/external) as required.

  • Provide data from systems as required for metrics or ad hoc data requests. In-house data and 3PL.

  • Initiates and follows-up on work orders within the Warehouse environment (s).

  • Participates on logistics projects to improve processes or reduce costs.

  • Maintain/Update IMEx visual management boards.

  • Monitor and process inventory issues and RIDS/material destruction.  Participate in the MRB process.

  • Write, review and route standard operating procedures and supporting documents for all warehouse SOP.

  • Provide mentoring or coaching on use of Logistics systems to all warehouse personnel.

  • Support management of Recycling system and process.

  • Verify Hazardous shipments and prepare for National and International compliance.

  • Coordinate and manage the logistics of inbound and outbound shipments across multiple locations, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of pharmaceutical products.

  • Develop and implement shipment schedules that align with production timelines and customer requirements while maintaining compliance with quality and regulatory standards.

  • Monitor and track shipment progress, addressing any issues that may arise to minimize delays and ensure adherence to operational standards.

  • Prepare and maintain accurate shipping documentation, including customs clearance requirements, to facilitate smooth transit of products across international borders.

  • Engage with external partners, such as freight forwarders and carriers, to negotiate contracts and optimize transportation costs while ensuring service quality. Work with above site teams to ensure end to end management of transportation of goods to market.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs, to ensure all shipments meet stringent safety and quality criteria.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must-Have

  • Applicants must have a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 2+ years (+certifications) of relevant experience.

  • Working knowledge of warehouse and logistics systems (e.g. SAP, PLOGS, Kinaxis, etc.).

  • Effective written and oral communication skills.

  • Advanced computer skills especially in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).

  • Possess a robust technical knowledge in all logistics and warehouse information systems, process/procedures and regulatory requirements.

  • Ability to obtain the following certifications as needed: Forklift certification, Hazmat certification, DOT certification, Valid Driver’s License.

Nice-to-Have

  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Food Sanitation in a food or dietary supplement manufacturing plant with blending experience.

  • Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and software.

  • Experience in inventory control and logistics.

  • Strong problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Commitment to continuous improvement and learning.

  • Familiarity and basic understanding of common AI tools and a curiosity for learning how they can be used to enhance productivity.
