Hybrid role in Mumbai
About FoodChain ID
FoodChain ID is a global leader in food safety, regulatory compliance, and sustainability solutions. We support organizations across the food and agriculture value chain with certification, advisory, and data-driven services that help bring safe, compliant, and sustainable products to market.
About the Role
You will own the regional go-to-market offers for our India and Thailand business units, by either working with others on the Product Marketing team where the product fits the region, and building offers specific to APAC where local buyer needs, regulations, or competitive dynamics call for something different. This role will initially focus on our business in India and Thailand, and potentially expand into other Asian markets as the business requires.
We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager, APAC to be the regional voice and hands-on executor of go-to-market across our fastest-growing markets. As part of the Product Marketing team, you will take positioning, messaging, and portfolio strategy and adapt it so it lands with food and beverage, agriculture, and compliance buyers in each of these markets.
This role sits at the intersection of marketing, regional sales and operations, and the on-the-ground realities of doing business across South and Southeast Asia. Your first job is to become the person who understands how buyers in these markets think, buy, and compete, better than anyone else on the team. Your second is to use that fluency to localize launches, sharpen enablement, and make sure the region’s voice shapes companywide strategy rather than just receiving it.
This is an individual contributor role that requires equal strength in regional market fluency and hands-on localization and execution, while working with your marketing and sales peers to ensure alignment.
What You’ll Own
Regional Go-to-Market Execution
Adapt global positioning, messaging, and launch plans for our India and Thailand business units, tailoring them to each market’s buyer needs, regulatory environment, and competitive landscape.
Own the regional launch calendar, sequencing global product and portfolio launches across markets based on commercial priority and market readiness.
Partner with regional sales, and operations to align on shared go-to-market plans and launch objectives.
Track regional launch performance and adjust plans market by market.
Lead regional event strategy, working with our events management team to plan and execute conferences, trade shows, and customer events across APAC.
Collaborate with growth marketing on executing regional campaigns and other demand generation activities that support pipeline goals across APAC.
Localization & Regional Enablement
Localize sales materials, solution content, case studies, and campaigns for language, cultural, and regulatory nuance across APAC.
Equip regional sales and operations with assets that are aligned with the buying behavior.
Serve as the go-to regional expert on how FoodChain ID’s food safety, compliance, and sustainability portfolio applies to APAC buyers.
Regional Market & Customer Insight
Monitor regional regulatory change, industry trends, and competitor activity market by market.
Act as the conduit between the region and the rest of product marketing and the broader marketing organization, bringing companywide strategy into the region and feeding field insight back up.
Cross-Functional & Regional Partnership
Build trusted relationships with APAC sales, operations, and country leaders, as well as marketing peers.
Represent APAC’s needs in portfolio planning, helping prioritize which assets and campaigns get localized first.
Coordinate across time zones and cultures to keep regional and global teams aligned without direct authority.
What You Bring
5–7+ years in product marketing, or a related commercial role at a B2B technology, data, or services company, ideally supporting APAC or another multi-country region.
Direct experience marketing to or working within India, or Thailand; understanding of regional buyer behavior, business culture, and go-to-market norms across South and Southeast Asia strongly preferred.
Experience with food safety, regulatory compliance, agri-food, or adjacent domains is a plus.
Fluency in English required; proficiency in Hindi, Thai, or Vietnamese is a strong plus.
Comfort adapting global positioning and assets to local market realities, rather than creating positioning from a blank page.
A track record of building trust with regional sales and country leaders as well as peers across the marketing organization, and influencing across markets, functions, and levels without direct authority.
Exceptional written and verbal communication across cultures, able to shift register between a regional channel partner, a compliance buyer, and a marketing leader in the same day.
Strong project management instincts and the independence to operate across multiple markets and time zones.
A data-driven, curious approach, with willingness to travel within the region as needed.
How Success Is Measured
Regional pipeline and revenue influenced by localized go-to-market efforts across markets.
Speed and quality of adapting global launches to each APAC market
Adoption of regional enablement assets by local sales
Regional win-rate improvement and market share growth across markets
Strength of the feedback loop from the region into companywide product marketing strategy
