Overview

At Gallagher, we’re looking for a Business Development Manager to join our Broker Distribution team. This is a home-based role with travel to broker offices across London and the Southeast, offering you the chance to build meaningful relationships and drive growth. Whether you’re experienced in broker relationship management or have a background in general insurance and are ready to step into business development, this role could be for you.

How you'll make an impact

You’ll work closely with a panel of brokers, building strong, mutually beneficial relationships. By understanding their needs, you’ll identify opportunities to grow their business using Gallagher’s wide range of products. You’ll monitor performance, create tailored business plans, and deliver training and updates to ensure sustainable growth. Your ability to lead key relationships and deliver impactful presentations will be key to your success.

About you

Here’s what you’ll bring to the role:

• Experience in general insurance, ideally with existing broker relationships in London and the Southeast.
• A knack for building and maintaining strong relationships with brokers and stakeholders.
• The ability to create and implement business plans that drive growth.
• Confidence in delivering presentations and training sessions.
• A proactive and collaborative approach to achieving shared goals.
