What you will do

This permanent opportunity is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional in financial services who is looking to build their career within the DACH Direct Lending team, part of a growing Direct Lending platform, at a leading global asset manager. As an Investment Analyst, you will gain hands-on experience in credit analysis, financial modelling, market and industry research, and the underwriting of new investments. You will also support the ongoing monitoring and performance evaluation of existing portfolio investments, while contributing to investment discussions, relative value analysis and the identification of new business opportunities.

What you can expect

  • Develop hands-on experience in credit analysis, including company, market and industry research.
  • Build and maintain financial models to support the underwriting of new direct lending investments.
  • Contribute to the monitoring and performance evaluation of existing portfolio investments.
  • Support investment decision-making through relative value analysis, research and preparation of investment materials.
  • Work in a fast-moving transactional environment with exposure to new business opportunities and a growing DACH Direct Lending team.

What you will bring

  • Early-career experience in financial services, ideally with exposure to credit, lending, investment analysis or financial modelling.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess companies, markets, industries and financial performance.
  • A proactive, curious mindset with a willingness to learn, ask questions and contribute to a collaborative investment team.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills and the ability to manage work effectively in a deadline-driven environment.
  • An interest in pursuing, or continuing progress towards, the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Program would be beneficial.
