Job Description:
This senior-level position is responsible for leading the design, development, and delivery of enterprise data solutions that drive analytic insights within the Complaints Reporting domain. The role emphasizes advanced data analysis, complex data relationships, and dimensional structures to enable scalable, insight-driven reporting for business partners.
The ideal candidate will translate sophisticated business and functional requirements into technical specifications, data rules, and actionable analytic insights. This includes contributing to and optimizing data marts, enterprise data warehouses, and operational data stores, with strong alignment to Shared Data Platform (SDP) standards.
In addition, this role will ensure that all business and technical metadata, data lineage, governance documentation, and data quality standards are rigorously maintained, audit-ready, and aligned with evolving enterprise data practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of data solutions that generate actionable analytic insights for Complaints reporting and analytics
- Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions, data mappings, and insight-driven outputs
- Develop and optimize data pipelines, datamarts, and warehouse structures within SDP environments to enable advanced analytics
- Partner cross-functionally with business, technology, and analytics teams to deliver high-impact, insight-driven reporting solutions
- Design and build advanced dashboards, visualizations, and reporting assets using MicroStrategy and Tableau
- Ensure data integrity, governance, and compliance through strong metadata management and documentation practices
- Drive issue resolution, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement across data and reporting processes
- Support production operations, including managing issue queues, incident resolution, and business user support
- Leverage AutoSys for job scheduling, monitoring, and automation of data workflows
- Mentor junior analysts/developers and provide technical leadership across initiatives
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or data warehousing roles within enterprise environments
- Deep expertise in delivering analytic insights leveraging enterprise data warehouse (EDW) ecosystems and dimensional design principles
- Extensive hands-on experience with MicroStrategy (reporting, dashboarding, visualization) and/or Tableau
- Strong proficiency in SQL for complex query development, data analysis, and performance tuning
- Proven ability to analyze, diagnose, and resolve complex data and reporting issues
- Experience working within Shared Data Platforms (SDP) or similar enterprise data ecosystems
- Hands-on experience with AutoSys for job scheduling and production support
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under tight deadlines
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work independently and across diverse teams
- Expertise in data governance, metadata management, and documentation best practices
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate data into clear business insights for stakeholders
Desired Skills & Experience
- Experience in financial services, with a focus on complaints, regulatory reporting, or operational analytics
- Advanced analytics experience using Alteryx or similar tools
- Certification or advanced expertise in MicroStrategy or Tableau
- Strong quantitative background (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or related field)
- Experience supporting audit, risk, or regulatory-driven data environments
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
