Location: Baytown, Texas Employment Type: Full‑Time

Job Responsibilities

• Perform SMAW (Stick), GTAW (TIG), FCAW (Flux Core), and MIG welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings to ensure accurate weld layout and fit‑up.
• Weld pipe and structural components in multiple positions, including roll‑outs, vertical, and overhead.
• Fabricate and weld pressure vessels; shear, roll, and fuse stainless steel or aluminum materials.
• Weld structural steel such as girders, stiffeners, splice plates, and diaphragms using FCAW/MIG.
• Follow strict safety protocols and ensure welds meet quality standards, including x‑ray and visual inspection requirements.
• Operate grinders, saws, drill presses, and other fabrication tools to prep and finish welds.
• Work collaboratively with welders, fitters, and supervisors to meet production goals and resolve welding issues.

Skills & Traits

• Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in high‑temperature or confined environments.
• Familiarity with AWS welding certifications (preferred).
• Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting and long shifts.

Requirements

• Proven experience with SMAW, GTAW, FCAW, and MIG welding.
• Ability to weld carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding schematics.
• Experience with pipe welding and structural welding in multiple positions.
• Knowledge of fabrication tools and shop equipment.
• Strong safety awareness and commitment to quality standards.
• Bilingual Preferred
