Description
The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-known and established distribution business based in Bristol. We are looking for HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to join the team on a temp basis.
Location: Bristol
Job Type: Temporary with a potential of ongoing work
Pay Rate: £17.50 per hour
Hours & Shift Patterns:
- Monday to Friday
- 04:30 am start until around 14:30 pm
The Role:
- Completing trunking work between the client’s hubs.
- Completing up to 2 runs per shift and then on occasions a collection on the way back.
- Ensuring all deliveries and collections are completed safely and on time.
- Carrying out all required vehicle checks before and after each shift.
- Completing all necessary paperwork accurately.
- Ensuring compliance with driver hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
- Maintaining a professional approach at all times.
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
- Minimum 3 months experience required.
- Maximum 6 points for minor offences only.
- Valid CPC and Digi Card.
- Good understanding of driver hours and regulations.
- Reliable, professional and flexible approach to work.
