Key Responsibilities:
- Maintains a clean, professional appearance at all times.
- Demonstrates consistent, prompt, and reliable attendance.
- Responsible for inventory counts and accurate record-keeping.
- Handles physical tasks such as sacking feed, loading, and unloading grain trucks.
- Operate and monitor feed mill equipment to ensure efficient production processes.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of machinery to prevent breakdowns.
- Measure and mix ingredients accurately according to specified formulations.
- Maintains strong attention to detail and ensures accurate documentation for regulatory compliance and internal records.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to meet safety standards.
- Record production data and report any discrepancies or equipment issues.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
- Assist in troubleshooting equipment problems and implementing solutions.
- Support quality control procedures to ensure product consistency and safety.
- Flexibility to work variable schedules, including different days, shifts, and overtime as needed.
Requirements
Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or experience in feed manufacturing preferred
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems and equipment operation
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and lift heavy loads
- Commitment to safety and adherence to company policies
