This role is an exciting opportunity for a strategic and innovative marketing leader to shape the future of field enablement at Insulet. As the Senior Manager, US Field Marketing Tools & Capabilities, you will lead the vision, development, and execution of the tools, platforms, and capabilities that empower our sales organization to engage healthcare providers and drive growth across both the Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes markets. Partnering closely with Sales, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Training, and CRM teams, you will have a highly visible role influencing commercial strategy, developing impactful field solutions, and ensuring our teams have the resources they need to succeed. This role is a critical driver of commercial success, responsible for leading the vision, strategy, and execution of field marketing tools and capabilities across the US Sales organization. With a focus on enabling HCP engagement and driving patient pull-through in both the Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes markets, this position plays a central role in empowering our field teams and optimizing sales performance.
The Senior Manager will oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of US field sales tools - from strategic planning and development to compliance, deployment, and performance tracking. This includes digital and print sales aids, CRM integration, training alignment, and field utilization. The role requires close collaboration with Sales, HCP Marketing, Product Marketing, Medical Affairs, Training, and CRM teams to ensure tools are impactful, compliant (medical, legal, and regulatory), and aligned with broader commercial objectives.
This individual will serve as the lead Field Marketing voice for field enablement, partnering across functions to shape a roadmap of tools, capabilities, and solutions that address the highest priority needs of the sales organization. The role will balance development of future capabilities with ongoing optimization of existing tools, using field feedback and performance insights to guide priorities and improve execution. Regular engagement with the field will ensure the roadmap remains grounded in the evolving needs of the sales force and diabetes market. Regular field travel and participation in national events will be essential to stay connected to the needs of the sales force and the evolving diabetes landscape.
The ideal candidate is a highly collaborative leader, systems thinker, and hands-on executor with deep experience in sales marketing materials and enablement within the medical device or pharmaceutical industry. Responsibilities:
Sales Marketing Tool Strategy & Execution: Lead strategy, planning, and execution of new field marketing tools and capabilities, including digital sales aids.
Collaborate with CRM, Sales Enablement, and Training teams to ensure platform integration.
Align with US HCP Marketing and Global Product Marketing to ensure consistent messaging and HCP marketing strategy execution across both Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes segments.
Manage the compliance & Cross-Functional Development
Own MLR/Veeva submission and approval processes.
Partner with HCP Marketing, Product Marketing, Medical, and Agency teams to ensure HCP strategy, compliance, and effective tool development.
Own launch plans for new field marketing tools and integrate into new hire and ongoing training programs.
Collaborate with GSCT and US Sales Training to build and hand off training content.
Manage ordering platform, including budgeting, inventory control, and quarterly audits.
Partner with US Marketing Events team to develop sales tool strategies for national and local events (e.g., ADA, Breakthrough Type 1, medical conferences, camps).
Define and track KPIs to measure tool effectiveness and adoption.
Field Feedback & Market Insights: Conduct regular field travel for feedback, tool evaluation, and message recall initiatives.
Build external agency partnerships for ongoing evaluation and optimization.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business or Marketing (MBA or advanced degree preferred)
10+ years of work experience.
2+ years of medical device or pharmaceutical industry marketing experience preferred
Minimum Requirements:
Experience developing and commercializing field marketing tools and capabilities and new products/line extensions.
Diabetes experience or knowledge
Experience leading, motivating and managing a team
Proven ability to build cross-functional relationships and influence decision-makers.
Highly skilled in presenting strategies and tactics to senior-level audiences.
Preferred Skills and Competencies:
Diabetes experience or knowledge (Type 1 and/or Type 2) strongly preferred.
Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
Highly organized, self-starter, and quick learner.
Experience leading and motivating teams.
Deep experience using VEEVA and working within medical, legal, and regulatory functions

Compensation & Benefits: For U.S.-based positions only, the annual base salary range for this role is $136,400.00 - $204,575.00 This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation.
