We now have a fantastic opportunity for you to join the Heidelberg Materials team as an enthusiastic and professional Concrete Batcher to support Concrete Operations at our Orange Concrete Plant, NSW. 
 

We are seeking a candidate who is passionate about safety, results focused and holds a strong work ethic. Effective communication and a willingness to go the extra mile for our customers is essential. Confidence with computers and previous batching experience will be highly regarded, however we are willing to train the right candidate.  
 

This is a full time, Monday to Friday role with overtime and Saturdays in accordance with business needs. Our Batchers are one of the first onsite, with early start times and finish times that will vary, so flexibility is a must. 
 

In your new role with us, you will: 

• Manage batching and loading of Company fleet for delivery to our valued customers 

• Make decisions that impact the overall performance of the business 

• Quality control and plant maintenance 

• Assume the responsibility of looking after the yard and ensuring housekeeping standards are maintained

• Total commitment to risk management and Zero Harm 

• Ensuring stock levels are maintained and ordering of raw materials to meet daily production requirements

• Are a natural problem solver and enjoy planning and troubleshooting 

• Want to contribute to the overall performance of the Heidelberg Materials business 

• Previous Concrete Batching experience will be highly regarded but not essential to be considered for this opportunity - Training will be provided 

• Front End Loader ticket is advantageous

• HR licence highly desirable
   

What we offer: 

• Base rate of $34.58 - $39.91 per hour plus super and penalty rates for all overtime worked

• Obtain your Front-End Loader ticket, if not already held
