Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer / Technology Specialist with strong experience in Capital Markets and Asset Management domains. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in Python, React, Java, and SQL, along with a sound understanding of Public Markets, Securities, Bonds, Trading & Settlement, Regulatory Reporting, and Client Reporting processes.
Experience supporting global asset management teams, particularly within investment management environments, will be highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications supporting capital markets and asset management business functions.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, investment teams, and operations teams to gather requirements and deliver technology solutions.
Develop front-end applications using React and backend services using Python and Java.
Build and optimize data processing solutions using SQL and modern database technologies.
Develop solutions supporting:
Public Markets
Public Securities
Government & Corporate Bonds
Trading & Settlement Operations
Regulatory Reporting
Client Reporting
Enhance reporting platforms and automate business-critical workflows.
Integrate applications with internal and external financial systems.
Ensure application performance, security, scalability, and regulatory compliance.
Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support activities.
Required Technical Skills
Strong hands-on experience in:
Python
React.js
Java
Standard SQL
Experience in API development and system integrations.
Strong understanding of database design and optimization.
Experience with application development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.

Understanding of financial instruments, trade lifecycle, and settlement processes.
Experience working with Sydney-based or APAC Asset Management teams is desirable.
Education
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
