Description
We are looking for a commercially minded and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to lead and grow the Lubrication Systems business within the assigned region. This role is ideal for a sales leader who can combine strategic account development, distributor management, operational discipline and people leadership to deliver sustainable revenue growth, improved profitability and stronger customer partnerships.
Purpose of the Role
To drive regional sales performance, profitability and market expansion by developing strong customer and distributor relationships, executing value-based selling strategies, leading the regional team, and ensuring disciplined commercial management across sales, service delivery, finance and customer operations.
The successful candidate will lead and coordinate direct reports, including regional technicians, support resources, to ensure customer satisfaction, safe service delivery and effective execution of sales and operational plans.
Achieve agreed regional sales, revenue, profit/contribution and lubrication systems targets.
Develop and execute regional growth plans aligned to key accounts, strategic segments and customer needs.
Identify, qualify and convert profitable new business opportunities across the territory.
Use CRM/C4C effectively to plan customer visits, record opportunities, track activities and support sales forecasting.
8 years' proven industrial, engineering product or technical sales experience.
5 years sales or key account experience
Required experience within the mining sector, including engagement with mine sites, mining customers, contractors, distributors and industrial maintenance environments.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales and profitability targets.
Experience in new business development, account growth, commercial negotiation and distributor/customer management.
Strong business understanding, financial acumen and ability to use data to make commercial decisions.
Experience in lubrication systems, industrial maintenance, reliability solutions or related technical environments will be advantageous.
