Maintenance Assistant FTC X2

Overview

Supports maintenance activities by assisting artisans with preventative and corrective maintenance, ensuring tools and equipment are safe and operational, and maintaining clean, safe, and compliant work areas. The role also helps address minor building and equipment issues while adhering to health, safety, environmental, and food safety standards.

Responsibilities

Maintenance

• Checked tools are in good working order and safe to use
• (at start and finish of shift)
• Handed right tools to the Artisan when  necessary
• Greased bearings, clean panels and machines (PM related)
• Checked connections
• Blowed out machines
• Completed assigned maintenance work (PM related)
• Attended call-outs with Artisan when necessary
• Close out of EHS (Near Miss) issues
• Close out of FSQ issues
• Attend to small building-, machine issues except to any moving or live equipment.

Housekeeping

• Ensured area where Artisans had been working is clean
• Ensured workshop is clean

Safety

• Always worn safety gear (PPE)
• Aware and adhere to food safety standards

Qualifications

• Grade 12
• 12 months relevant experience
