HN434 - Weekend + Travel Nanny - Tribeca, NYC

Overview

A family in the Tribeca neighborhood of Manhattan is seeking a weekend live-out nanny who can also travel with them when needed. They have 1 son who is 18-months-old. The proposed schedule is Saturday and Sunday typically starting between 1pm-3pm and ending between 6pm-8pm for 10 hours a week guaranteed hours. During the summers, the hours will be a bit more as the role will be at their Hamptons residence and begin Saturday morning and end Sunday afternoon and be live-in overnight; the candidate to hire can travel with them to/from the Hamptons or they can provide train fare for the candidate to transport themselves. Flexibility is appreciated for this role. The role can begin as early as September 5th.

Responsibilities

• All nursery duties as pertaining to the child; diapering, feeding, meal prep, dressing, grooming, bathing as needed, keeping diaper bag and/or stroller stocked, baby's laundry but parents may also help with this, keeping nursery tidied and organized, alerting parents of any item in nursery that needs replenishing, etc.
• Overseeing and encouraging developmental milestones
• For the travel aspect of this role, the travel will be domestic and international (Europe, perhaps Asia, the Caribbean, Colorado, Wisconsin, Florida, etc.) and the travel will comprise about less then 3 weeks of the year total and each trip is about 8-10 days in length at a time. The family will spend two weeks in London each year and it would be a huge bonus if the nanny could join for this trip, but not a hard requirement.

Requirements

• Child and Baby First Aid/CPR/AED certified
• Must be comfortable around dogs and not allergic; they have 1 small golden doodle who is very friendly
• Being safety-minded

Salary and Benefits

• $40-45/hour depending upon qualifications and education/certifications
