What Is the Role?
Be a trusted lending partner for our members!
This is a Full Time Lending Specialist II position where you'll play a key role in guiding members through the lending process from application to funding. You'll work closely with members, loan originators, underwriters, title companies, and other partners to ensure a smooth and efficient lending experience while delivering outstanding service every step of the way.

What You'll Be Doing:
📞 Assisting members and internal teams through calls, emails, chats, and lending inquiries
🤝 Conducting loan interviews and loan closings while ensuring compliance with policies and regulations
📋 Coordinating appraisals, title work, insurance verification, employment verification, and other third-party services
🏡 Preparing loan files, communicating underwriting requirements, and helping move loans to clear-to-close status
✍️ Generating and reviewing loan closing documents for accuracy
💰 Funding loans, balancing transactions, and supporting the closing process with members and business partners
📊 Analyzing member financial information and assisting with underwriting support activities
✅ Supporting post-closing audits and ensuring loan quality and compliance standards are met
💡 Promoting Credit Union products and services that help members meet their financial needs

Qualifications:
✔ Experience in lending, loan operations, loan processing, financial services, or a related field preferred
✔ Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
✔ Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
✔ Working knowledge of lending procedures, regulations, and member service best practices preferred
