Sterling Salon Holdings LLC is seeking an experienced, hands-on Shop Manager to lead the daily operations of one of our five Drybar locations throughout the DMV.

This is a leadership role for someone who enjoys people, operations, and business performance. Our Shop Managers are responsible for building strong teams, delivering an exceptional client experience, maintaining high standards, and driving the overall performance of the shop.

 

 

 

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU'LL DO

· Lead, coach, and develop a team of stylists and front desk/bartender team members.

· Set clear expectations and hold the team accountable for performance, attendance, professionalism, and client service.

· Own the daily operation and performance of the shop, including sales, memberships, productivity, labor, scheduling, and inventory.

· Monitor key business metrics and create action plans to improve performance.

· Ensure an exceptional and consistent client experience.

· Maintain Drybar brand standards, including shop appearance, cleanliness, uniforms, and overall professionalism.

· Recruit, onboard, train, and develop team members.

· Address operational and performance issues quickly and proactively.

· Partner with leadership on training, special projects, and company initiatives.

A successful Shop Manager:

· Understands the numbers and actively works to improve sales, memberships, productivity, and labor performance.

· Maintains high operational standards and addresses issues before they become larger problems.

· Thinks like an owner—taking responsibility for the shop's people, clients, performance, and reputation.

· Leads by example and creates consistency every day.

 

Qualifications

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

· 2+ years of management experience in salon, beauty, hospitality, retail, fitness, franchise, or another customer-facing service environment.

· Experience leading, coaching, and developing a team.

· Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

· Comfortable managing staffing, scheduling, labor, and business performance.

· Customer service focused with a strong attention to detail.

· A proactive leader who takes ownership and is comfortable holding others accountable.

· Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

· Proficiency with scheduling, workforce management, POS, and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace systems.

· Cosmetology license or salon experience is a plus but not required.
