As Global Medical Affairs Manager Oncology, you will play a pivotal role in advancing Danone's oncology nutrition strategy. Working at the intersection of science, healthcare, and innovation, you will collaborate with leading oncology experts, scientific societies, healthcare professionals, and cross-functional teams to strengthen scientific credibility and drive meaningful change across the oncology ecosystem.

 

You will lead external scientific engagement, develop impactful medical communication strategies, and help translate emerging evidence into practical actions that support healthcare professionals, patients, and health systems worldwide.

 

This is a highly visible global role for a medical affairs professional who is passionate about improving cancer care through nutrition and building trusted partnerships across the healthcare community.

Your impact

Lead Strategic Scientific Engagement

• Build and maintain strategic relationships with global Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), oncology experts, scientific societies, and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals.
• Design and execute external engagement plans that strengthen Danone's scientific leadership and advance global medical priorities.
• Generate actionable insights from the external scientific community to inform evidence generation, innovation, and medical strategy.

Lead Medical Communication Strategy

• Develop compelling, evidence-based scientific narratives for healthcare professionals and external stakeholders.
• Shape integrated medical communication plans across scientific congresses, publications, medical education, and scientific exchange activities.
• Ensure all communications are clinically relevant, scientifically rigorous, and aligned with stakeholder needs.

Advance Scientific Evidence and Thought Leadership

• Support clinical research, real-world evidence initiatives, publication planning, and dissemination activities.
• Translate emerging scientific findings into actionable medical strategies and educational initiatives.
• Represent Danone at international congresses, advisory boards, expert meetings, and scientific forums.

Accelerate Adoption of Oncology Nutrition

• Contribute to initiatives that increase awareness, understanding, and implementation of nutritional care in oncology practice.
• Support programmes influencing education, guidelines, clinical pathways, policy discussions, and healthcare professional engagement.

About You

You will join Danone's Global Medical Affairs team and work closely with colleagues across Medical Affairs, Research & Innovation, Regulatory Affairs, Public Affairs, Marketing, and local market teams.

 

Success in this role requires strong collaboration across functions, cultures, and geographies, as well as the ability to engage confidently with external experts and healthcare stakeholders. You are comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution and can navigate ambiguity while maintaining scientific excellence.

What you bring

• PhD, MD, PharmD, or equivalent advanced degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, Nutrition, Life Sciences, or a related scientific discipline.
• Experience within Medical Affairs in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical nutrition, or healthcare industry.
• Demonstrated experience building and managing relationships with KOLs, oncology experts, healthcare professionals, and scientific organisations.
• Strong medical communication skills, including scientific storytelling, publication support, and stakeholder engagement.
• Excellent communication, project management, and influencing skills, with fluency in English.
