Civil Technician
An excellent opportunity exists for a qualified Civil Technician to join an industry leader in civil engineering based in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of civil engineering projects and will contribute to the delivery of high-quality infrastructure solutions.
Minimum Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering
- 3 to 4 years’ relevant civil experience, including exposure to pipelines, roads, and general civil construction
- Proven experience in surveying
- Strong technical knowledge with the ability to apply engineering principles effectively
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning, design, and execution of various civil engineering projects
- Perform surveying duties and ensure accurate measurements and data collection
- Oversee and support construction activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications and quality standards
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and project teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
