Residential Service Electrician

Overview

Parker and Sons is currently seeking Journeyman level Service Electricians to join our team comprised of creative and energetic employees, who are dedicated to delivering the best customer service experience every day.  Our Electricians manage the completion of various electrical tasks such as electrical break & repair, troubleshooting/maintenance, and service upgrades while providing exceptional customer service at ALL times by treating customers with the utmost respect and attention. This position will provide general electrical repair and services with an emphasis on quality of work, performed efficiently and following all applicable local and national codes.

 

We are looking for experienced residential service electricians with 5+ years experience. Service Titan and Generac experience is a PLUS! Must have extensive customer service experience.

Responsibilities

What Will I Do?

• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems accurately and efficiently
• Perform repairs consistent with and exceeding National Electrical Code standards
• Increase customer loyalty by maintaining a clean working area
• Educating and offering the customer appropriate upgrades that you can complete immediately or at scheduled time
• Accurately estimate and invoice repairs and projects
• Document work completed with before and after photos
• Demonstrate Safe working practices and methods
• Effectively communicate with all internal and external customers

Qualifications

Do I have What it Takes?

• Minimum of 3-4 years residential electrical wiring, repair and troubleshooting all aspects of the Electrical System
• Journeyman level Electricians preferred 
• Ability to read blueprints, run conduits, wire and terminate devices, perform quality control testing, and troubleshooting
• Working knowledge of installing electrical systems in a new and existing setting
• Detail oriented with good time management skills
• Experience with Service Titan a plus!       
• Can lift, carry, and maneuver a minimum of 75 pounds without additional manpower or appropriate device
• Must be able to work in the outside elements of heat and cold safely and on ladders and/or roofs medium to high heights
• Maintain well-groomed appearance and keep a clean uniform and work shoes
