Description

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our customer's IT support team. In this role, you will play a key part in enhancing our technology operations by delivering advanced support to internal users. Your efforts will ensure smooth interactions between users and their IT tools, directly contributing to increased productivity and user satisfaction. This position requires a permanent on-site presence to provide direct end-user support.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical support issues.
  • Participate in the deployment of new hardware and software.
  • Document support activities and escalate unresolved issues to higher-level support teams.
  • Provide training to users on basic IT tasks and software applications.
  • Assist with network troubleshooting and perform minor configuration tasks.
  • Maintain and update the IT inventory and asset management systems.
  • Support the implementation of new IT procedures and policies.
  • Perform routine maintenance and updates on systems and software.
  • Assist in incident response and recovery efforts.
  • Generate reports on common support issues and their resolutions.

Qualifications

  • Proven professional experience in full lifecycle management of enterprise IT environments.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of server and client structures with a focus on Microsoft solutions, including Microsoft Windows 11, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365.
  • Strong understanding of IT requirements for a modern workplace, including WiFi, printing, telepresence, and peripheral workplace devices.
  • Preferred additional knowledge of MacOS, iOS, and Android operating systems, including best practice device management processes.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow, Zscaler, Microsoft Endpoint Manager / Intune, CyberArk, Falcon Crowdstrike, and Cisco Telepresence is highly valued.
  • Advanced technical troubleshooting skills to resolve complex issues effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills for clear and professional interaction with users and IT team members.
  • Ability to assist with basic network configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Competence in deploying standard software applications and advanced hardware configuration and maintenance.
  • Strong documentation skills for detailed issue tracking and reporting.
  • Customer service-oriented approach to user support.
  • Effective problem-solving capabilities in technical contexts.
  • Fluent English proficiency with a well-developed technical vocabulary.
