Salary: $41.00 per hour

How you'll make an impact in this role

• Administer prescribed radiation therapy by accurately preparing, positioning, and treating patients in collaboration with physicians and dosimetrists.
• Operate, maintain, and adjust treatment equipment (e.g., linear accelerator) while ensuring high-quality images and proper documentation in PACS.
• Maintain detailed, accurate records of all therapy sessions and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Support a clean, safe, and organized department, including treatment rooms, storage areas, and patient spaces.

What minimum qualifications you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Radiation Therapist credentialed from the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Radiation Therapist credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date required. 

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
