Billing Representative

Location: Pensacola, FL

Facility: Ascension Sacred Heart Medical Group Cardiology

Schedule: Day | Full-time | Monday - Friday

What You Will Do

• Verify insurance coverage, coordinate benefits, and ensure prompt, accurate billing across all sources to secure timely payments.
• Determine patient financial responsibility and proactively communicate with patients regarding coverage issues and services not covered by insurance.
• Prepare and meticulously process all claims.
• Maintain detailed documentation of all activities, resolve unbilled claims, and review accounts to ensure best practices in billing and reimbursement.

What You Will Need

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Additional Preferences

• Previous medical billing experience.
