An Engineer 2 will diagnose, provide service, and repairs to resort equipment including electrical, plumbing, steam, gas, fire & safety, HVAC refrigeration and respond to inquiries and problems in an efficient, courteous and professional manner to achieve maximum customer satisfaction while complying with all Four Seasons’ policies.
Responsibilities
- Complete preventative maintenance of equipment and update appropriate logs.
- Diagnose and/or assist with repairs of equipment including motors, starters, breakers, chillers and associated equipment throughout the entire building.
- Perform intermediate maintenance and repairs on HVAC-R, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, kitchen equipment, motors, laundry equipment and building systems.
- Troubleshoot engineering issues and suggest permanent corrective solutions.
- Maintain accurate logs for work orders, inspections, repairs, and compliance records.
- Assist with identifying opportunities to reduce maintenance costs and improve system efficiency.
- Respond to service requests regarding maintenance of rooms and equipment in guest rooms or public area in a timely manner.
- Respond to all emergency conditions such as fires, power failures, etc.
- Understand and Implement Engineering Safety Protocols/Standards - Lock Out / Tag Out Procedure, Kitchen Equipment, Air Handlers, Boilers & Chillers, Emergency Equipment and Personal Protective Equipment, Safety work habits, Knowledge of Radio Communication Codes, Material Safety Data Sheet.
- Identifying and following Elevator Operation Procedure – Elevator Failure, Guest Rescue Procedure, Elevator Equipment Rooms.
- Check various systems/areas of resort - EMS /BAS System Alarms, Monthly Utility Meter Readings, Monthly Utility Meter Readings, Chiller Room / Central Plant, Boiler Room, Cooling Towers, Laundry, Steam Boilers, Pool Equipment Room/Cleaner, Public Area, etc.
What you bring
- Experience in mechanics, electrical, HVAC-R, or plumbing highly preferred.
- Experience required by position is from 3 to 4 years of employment in a related position with Four Seasons or other organization.
- Requires an intermediate working technical knowledge of General building maintenance
