Join Cleveland Clinic's Main Campus where research and surgery are advanced, technology is leading-edge, patient care is world-class, and caregivers are family. Cleveland Clinic is recognized as one of the top hospitals in the nation. At Cleveland Clinic, you will work alongside passionate and dedicated caregivers, receive endless support and appreciation and build a rewarding career with one of the most respected healthcare organizations in the world.
The Cardiology Step-Down Units (J71, J72, and J73) are fast-paced cardiovascular units that provide specialized nursing care and continuous telemetry monitoring for patients requiring close cardiac observation. Together, the three units comprise 73 beds, including 25 beds on J71 and 24 beds each on J72 and J73.
These units care for a diverse cardiac patient population, including individuals recovering from myocardial infarction and cardiac interventions, as well as those with chronic heart failure, cardiac dysrhythmias, and pulmonary hypertension. Nurses on these units deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care while supporting patients as they progress from higher-acuity settings toward recovery and discharge.
What truly sets these units apart is the culture. Teamwork is a defining strength, and new caregivers are welcomed with encouragement, mentorship, and support from day one. If you're seeking a dynamic cardiac nursing environment where you'll be challenged, valued, and surrounded by colleagues who genuinely work together, our Cardiology Stepdown Units offer an outstanding opportunity to grow your career.
