About the role
This opportunity is ideal for an candidate who enjoys combining architecture thinking with hands‑on delivery in a complex enterprise environment. The role sits close to major business systems and gives you the chance to shape application design, influence technology direction, and play a visible part in high‑impact transformation work you will help modernise core platforms, contribute to architectural decisions, and bring new technology ideas into practical use across important business initiatives. You will also have the platform to raise delivery standards, improve solution quality, and support less experienced team members as the organisation continues to evolve its technology estate. Help define AI and Data architecture for critical enterprise systems, turning business needs into scalable, reliable, and well-structured technical solutions. Take an active role across the delivery lifecycle, including system analysis, solution design, development, testing, and technical problem solving. Lastly, support the roll out of new technologies and technical products as part of larger strategic programmes and transformation initiatives.
The successful candidate
- A degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline, with strong foundations in enterprise architecture and data design.
- Proven experience in data architecture, data platform design, or enterprise data transformation, ideally gained across large, complex organisations.
- A track record of shaping modern data environments, including data lakes, warehouses, cloud-based platforms, integration patterns, metadata management, and data governance models.
- Strong understanding of AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics use cases, with the ability to connect technical capability to business value and adoption outcomes.
- Experience working across structured and unstructured data, with practical knowledge of how to support model development, data pipelines, and AI-ready data environments at scale.
- Familiarity with cloud ecosystems and modern architecture principles, particularly where data, APIs, platforms, and enterprise applications need to work together seamlessly.
- Good command in Chinese and English
