Our client is an employee-focused privately held insurance agency headquartered in the heart of Bethesda, Maryland. As an all-lines insurance broker, they have been serving the WDC regional community for over 50 years.
The client is a rocket ship offering a wide range of insurance products including property & casualty, risk management services, and employee benefits.

Background "Like to Haves":
- Demonstrated success as an Employee Benefits Account Manager is a big plus
- A focus on accounts with 2 - 50 employee lives
- Experience with mid-market 50 – 250 lives is a big plus too.
- Communications with the client's employees
- Experience with billing, carrier relations, market placement, claims are all big pluses, but not all required.
- Performing internal support and servicing while interfacing with the clients' employees
- Communicating with other departments such as personal lines and commercial lines
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Servicing the client's employees needs
- Manage approximately 60 small accounts in the 2 – 50 life segment
- Contributing your knowledge and experience in mostly the fully-insured segment
- Client Relationships
- Oversight of Claims & Billing
- Renewals
- Eligibility issues
- Being the Primary Employee Advocate
- Working with the renewals department
- Providing A+ service and support to the client and their employees
Compensation Structure:
- Base: A Very Generous “WDC-based” base salary
