What you will have an opportunity to do:

Ready to turn mountains of linens into a masterpiece? The Hotel Roanoke & Conference Center, a Curio Collection by Hilton property managed by Pyramid Global Hospitality, is looking for a Laundry Attendant who takes pride in keeping our hotel looking its best. If you have previous laundry, housekeeping, or hotel experience and enjoy staying active throughout your shift, we'd love to meet you!

As a Laundry Attendant, you'll help keep our operation running smoothly by washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens that help create amazing guest experiences. Every Laundry Attendant plays an important role in our success, and the ideal candidate understands that clean, fresh linens can make all the difference.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping and/or laundry experience required; preference given to candidates with previous hotel experience.
• Ability to operate commercial laundry equipment including washer extractors, ironers, dryers, folders, and related machinery.
• Ability to transport, handle, and/or lift up to 75 pounds, including housekeeping supplies and laundry items.
• Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and co-workers.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision while staying on task and completing required duties.

This full-time, on-site position in Roanoke, VA, works 1st shift from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (weekend shift typically runs 9am – 5pm) ., five days per week with varying days off
