The QA Engineer is responsible for making sure all products meet company and industry quality standards. Responsibilities also include designing and implementing tests, debugging and defining corrective actions.

General Responsibilities

• Responsible for flawless Launch of new products

• Establish and maintain business relationships with Sensata’s customers during all phases of New Product Development   

• Ensure adherence with all Sensata NPD process and procedures

• Capture and flow down Customer Specific Requirements (CSR) to launch team

• Establish Process product and Process controls utilizing AIAG Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, FMEA)

• Ensure compliance of manufacturing and production processes with internal and external safety, quality and regulatory standards requirements for worldwide distribution

• Develop PPAP packages for customer submission and approval

• Initiate and manage all corrective actions required during launch

• Provide timely escalation for launch issues that may negatively impact customer or Sensata

Experience / Qualifications

• A university degree required (i.e. Bachelor’s degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.

• Hands on working experience with AIAG Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, FMEA)

• VDA & IATF Quality Management Systems knowledge and or internal auditor experience

• Shop floor / hands on experience as a Quality Engineer, with minimum of 3 years’ job experience

• New Product Launch experience, preferred in electronic components, and 1 + yrs. job experience

• Time management skills (ability to manage time and resources to accomplish tasks)

• Ability to work independently and within our teams

• Robust communication skills (written & verbal) in English

• MS Office, Oracle / Agile, Customer Web Portal capabilities

• Ability to travel to individual Sensata, customer or sub supplier sites

• Capture, document, apply Lessons Learned from NPD launches (Good and /or Poor experiences).  Use them to build a stronger NPD system and proactive approach for future launches

Gross Annual Salary Range:

20,493.00 EUR - 28,177.60 EUR

The salary range is published in line with the EU Pay Transparency Directive and relevant country legislation.

The starting salary offered will be based on objective, gender-neutral criteria , (e.g internal equivalency, relevant skills, experience, qualifications etc.). Applicants will not be asked for salary history.
