This Position reports to:
Quality ManagerYour role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the deployment of the quality strategy for a local organizational unit, including quality culture, systems, tools, and competent teams with the aim to achieve and exceed customer expectations, while ensuring sustainable operations. Each day, you will assist the organization in achieving the right mix of prevention, continuous improvement, robust root cause analysis, quick response, and sustainable solutions to problems. You will also showcase your expertise by collaborating with local functions that impact the quality results to reach the targets for the organizational unit and aim for world-class performance.

This role is contributing to the Motion business for High Power division based in Vadodara, India
You will be mainly accountable for:
Supporting specific communication relevant to quality management in your area of responsibility.
Assisting in continuously identifying and addressing risks and opportunities related to quality management in the local organization.
Using quality data analytics from the organization to identify risks, failures, and nonconformance.
Facilitating resolution of customer cases by following a robust root cause analysis and implementing preventive and corrective actions.
Workstation quality inspections and NCR management. Workstation inspection and final inspection of machines.
Special process validation ( brazing & crimping). Preparation of customer QAP for review & approval.
Customer witness inspection & offer documents as per approved QAP.
Calibration of IMTE. Defect analysis and implement CAPA at workstation
Qualifications for the role
Full time Diploma/Engineering in Mechanical / Electrical with experience of 5 to 8 years in Quality.
Preferable - Skill Sigma Green Belt, 8D / RCA Analysis with resolution. ISO 9001: 2015 at least internal auditor certification
Preferred experience from Electrical Motors industries / Automotive / Pump and valves.
Special process qualification and validation like brazing, painting, crimping.
Work in SAP - Quality module, SAP ARIBA environment.
Hands on experience on SPC, MSA, PFMEA, Process Capabilities, APQP, Kaizen, Poka-yoke, Jig &
Fixtures added advantage knowledge of Lean manufacturing
