Jamison Professional Services, Inc. (“Jamison”) is currently seeking a qualified and motivated candidate for the position of Mail Services Manager.

Job Title: Mail Services Manager


DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES:
The On-Site Manager shall provide full-time on-site management of all mail processing and delivery operations supporting the customer and Division of Mail Management Services (DMMS). The On-Site Manager serves as the Contractor's primary point of contact with the Government Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) and is responsible for overall contract performance, staffing, quality assurance, and operational continuity.


Responsibilities:

Manage daily mail center operations.
Supervise all contractor personnel.
Ensure adequate staffing levels.
Coordinate mail processing and delivery schedules.
Serve as primary liaison with the COR.
Resolve operational issues and implement corrective actions.
Monitor contract compliance.
Ensure performance standards are met.
Prepare required reports.
Oversee employee training.
Ensure compliance with security requirements.
Coordinate substitute personnel during employee absences.
Maintain Quality Assurance and Quality Control programs.
Ensure contractor compliance with USPS regulations and the customer’s procedures
 

REQUIRED AND DESIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Five (5) years of mail center or postal operations experience.
Five (5) years of supervisory or management experience.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to obtain all the credentials and security clearance as required


Location: On-Site- Bethesda, Rockville, and Gaithersburg locations

Schedule:

The CMF shall be operational between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, except Federal holidays. Satellite mail facilities shall be operational between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., Monday thru Friday, except Federal holidays.

Clearance Level Required: Employment is contingent upon successfully completing any required background checks, in accordance with applicable law.
