[What the role is]
Team Head/ Land Sale PrivateTo manage a team of officers involved in processing various land sale and lease management functions, including the alienation of State land to private entities, collection of Land Betterment Charge, and renewal of private leases.
[What you will be working on]
Evaluate applications to alienate remnant State land to adjoining owners, and capable State land to private organisations for strategic purpose.
Provide guidance and clearance of submissions for the processing of sale e.g. land premium valuation, payment monitoring, President’s approval for sale, title issuance.
Evaluate development applications for enhancement in land value to faciltiate the collection of land betterment charge.
Approve applications for consent to mortgage/sale/subletting etc.
Evaluate lease extension/surrender and re-issuance applications.
Review policies relating to administration of State leases.
Formulate new land policies and review existing ones on lease extension, land exchange, land betterment charge collection.
Carry out, monitor and supervise work processes in a manner that support good corporate governance and manage risk exposures at the team level.
[What we are looking for]
5 to 8 years of experience in estate management, marketing, town planning, lease administration matters, en-bloc sales of buildings, government/ private land sales by tenders or auctions would be favourably considered
Excellent communication and writing skills
Strong people management skills and experience in leading a team
Analytical, meticulous, performance-driven, good administrative skills
