Description
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders, in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical findings.
- Provide direct therapy services to patients across age groups (pediatric, adult, or geriatric as applicable).
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
- Educate patients and families on treatment strategies, home exercises, and communication techniques.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and accreditation standards.
- Participate in discharge planning and continuity of care coordination.
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems preferred.
