About the Opportunity
Our client, a global technology consulting company with over 87,000 employees across 40+ countries, is seeking talented professionals to join their European operations supporting major digital transformation programmes in the banking and financial services sector.
The Role
We are hiring a QA Automation Engineer with a Python test automation focus to build and maintain automated test solutions across web and mobile applications for a major banking transformation programme in Nicosia. You will work with a Python based automation stack, Playwright on web and Appium on mobile, embedding automated quality gates into CI/CD pipelines as the programme scales.
What You Will Do
- Design, develop and maintain automated test solutions for web and mobile applications
- Build web test automation with Playwright and mobile test automation with Appium, working in Python
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of test automation frameworks
- Integrate and maintain automated tests within CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate closely with developers and QA colleagues to ensure robust test coverage
- Analyse test execution results, identify defects and support resolution
- Champion best practices in test automation and quality assurance
What You Will Bring
- Proven experience in QA automation and test design
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and Appium, ideally Python based
- Solid working knowledge of Python for test automation
- Experience building or maintaining test automation frameworks
- Good understanding of software testing principles and Agile methodologies
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with PyTest
- Experience with Azure and Azure Pipelines
- Experience testing across both web and mobile platforms
- Exposure to test architecture or framework design decisions
- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems
The Details
- Location: Nicosia, Cyprus. Fully onsite, no remote or hybrid option
- Hours: 8 hour working day, Monday to Friday
- Permanent, full time
- Languages: Fluency in both Greek and English is mandatory. Candidates who do not speak both languages cannot be considered
