Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Consultant Gastroenterologist to join a leading healthcare organization in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will provide expert care in diagnosing and managing gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary disorders, perform advanced endoscopic procedures, and contribute to high clinical standards within a modern, multidisciplinary environment. This full‑time role offers a competitive salary, benefits, and opportunities for professional development.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive assessments and manage patients with a wide range of gastrointestinal conditionsPerform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, including upper GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, polypectomy, and ERCP (if applicable)Interpret imaging, laboratory results, and endoscopic findings to develop evidence‑based treatment plansProvide inpatient and outpatient gastroenterology consultationsCollaborate with surgeons, radiologists, oncologists, dietitians, and other specialists to ensure integrated patient careParticipate in on‑call duties as required by the departmentEducate patients on disease prevention, lifestyle modifications, and treatment optionsMaintain accurate medical records in accordance with Saudi healthcare regulationsContribute to departmental quality improvement, clinical audits, and patient safety initiativesSupport training and mentorship of junior doctors, residents, and allied health staffStay updated with advancements in gastroenterology and incorporate new techniques into practiceQualificationsMedical degree (MD or equivalent) from a recognized institutionBoard certification in GastroenterologyMinimum 5 years of post‑qualification experience in gastroenterology and endoscopyProficiency in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic proceduresStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in a multicultural, fast‑paced clinical environmentMust hold or be eligible for Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) licensing
