Summary of Job Duties:

The Human Resource Administrative Assistant reports to the Human Resource Director and have the following duties:

*To assist with publicizing openings, review of applications and maintain records on applicants for all positions in Workday.
*To assist with creating job requisitions in Workday.
*To assist with background and reference checks.
*To assist with coordinating the evaluation of employees.
*To assist with reviewing all eligible personnel are granted the appropriate fringe benefits and maintain adequate records for demonstrating it.
*To assist with purchase orders, vendor payments.
*To work closely with the Vice Chancellors and the Chancellor on decisions regarding persons to be employed as recommended by the committees and division chairs and directors.
*To serve on committees as appropriate.
*To assist with reports
*To help with policies and procedures
*To perform other additional duties assigned.


Qualifications:

The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma; plus one year of specialized training in business management, business education, or a related field; plus two years of experience in a specialized or a related field applicable to work performed.
