We are excited to announce a newly created leadership position: Area Chief. This exciting new role will provide leadership across our newly renovated Frankston and Somerville clinics, playing a key role in shaping the future of our services. 
 

The Area Chief is responsible for overseeing the daily operational performance of Frankston and Somerville sites. This role ensures that all locations are appropriately staffed and resourced to maximize efficiency, patient throughput, and service delivery across all imaging modalities. Working closely with Radiologists, technical, clerical, and nursing teams, the Area Chief supports seamless operations while maintaining high standards of patient care and safety. This position provides strong leadership and people management across multiple sites, fostering a positive team culture and effective collaboration. 
 

The Area Chief ensures teams are informed of and compliant with practice policies, operational procedures, billing updates, and system enhancements. High-level communication with internal and external stakeholders, including management, referring doctors, and equipment vendors, is essential to address operational challenges and support strategic objectives.

To Be Successful You Will Have 

• Demonstrated team leadership skills, with a willingness to be part of, and manage a professional imaging team 

• Currently registered with AHPRA 

• Knowledge of and adherence to regulation and statutory guidelines 

• Strong communicator with the ability to teach, mentor and give constructive feedback. 

• Approachable, supportive, and patient-focused  

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail 

• Commitment to continuous improvement, learning and a positive team culture 

• Leadership across multiple locations (desirable) 

• Experience across a variety of modalities including (but not exclusively); CT, MRI and/or X-Ray (desirable) 

• Business or management qualifications (desirable)
