Logistic Senior Analyst

Our SCM Center of Excellence in Santo Domingo is currently seeking a Logistic Senior Analyst. We're looking for talented professionals who are passionate about supply chain, innovation, and operational excellence to join our dynamic team.

## What you’ll do:

The Senior Logistics Analyst/Scheduler is responsible for leading transportation scheduling and execution activities across assigned plants, distribution centers, and customer channels.

This role drives transportation performance through proactive capacity management, carrier coordination, network optimization, and operational issue resolution while ensuring compliance with logistics standards and service level objectives. The Senior Logistics Scheduler serves as the primary escalation point for transportation execution issues and provides guidance to Logistics Schedulers.

Job Responsibilities

1\. Lead transportation scheduling activities across multiple facilities, distribution centers, and customer locations.

2\. Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly shipment plans to support business requirements and customer commitments.

3\. Coordinate transportation capacity and optimize shipment routing to maximize service and minimize costs.

4\. Monitor transportation execution and implement corrective actions to resolve disruptions, delays, and capacity constraints.

5\. Act as the primary operational contact for assigned carriers.

6\. Monitor carrier KPIs and lead performance reviews to drive continuous improvement.

7\. Escalate chronic service failures and partner with carriers on corrective action plans.

8\. Support carrier onboarding, RFQ implementation, and routing guide compliance activities.

9\. Analyze transportation and logistics performance data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.

10\. Maintain transportation dashboards and KPI reporting.

11\. Provide recommendations to improve OTD, transportation cost, carrier utilization, and service performance.

12\. Support freight spend reviews and transportation cost optimization initiatives.

13\. Collaborate with Network Planning, Manufacturing, Distribution Centers, Customer Service, Procurement, and Transportation teams.

14\. Ensure transportation plans are aligned with production schedules, inventory availability, and customer requirements.

15\. Drive communication and resolution of transportation issues impacting customer deliveries.

16\. Ensure adherence to transportation policies, routing guides, and global logistics standards.

17\. Verify compliance with import/export regulations, customs requirements, hazardous material regulations, and transportation laws.

18\. Support freight audit, accrual validation, and transportation compliance programs.

19\. Lead transportation process improvement initiatives.

20\. Support implementation and optimization of TMS and logistics technology solutions.

21\. Drive adoption of standard work and best practices across the transportation organization.

22\. Act as a subject matter expert for transportation execution processes and systems.

## Qualifications:

Education level required

• Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Eng/.or related field.
• High English proficiency

Years and area of experience required

• Minimun 3 years of experience in similar positions

Technical knowledge

• Knowledge of SIOP, demand planning, analytics and carrier RFQ quotation
• Preferred: SAP, Salesforce, and other ERP's.
• Experience of process standardization.
• Able to gather data from multiple systems and provide meaningful interpretation.
• Able to anticipate logistics issues and proactively work for their resolution.
