Job Description:

We are looking for bright, driven candidates to join our global Investment Division team and build a career in investments.

Working closely with Portfolio Managers, the broader investment team, and the Alternatives team, this role will support investment management, portfolio implementation, portfolio analysis, investment processes, and reporting activities. The role will contribute to work across our Total Solutions Portfolio Management teams, including Equities, Fixed Income, Multi-Asset, and Alternatives.

This is a strong development opportunity for someone early in their investment career, with exposure to global portfolios, on-the-job coaching, cross-training opportunities, and CFA sponsorship.

Years of Experience

1–3 years of related investment experience, or experience in the investment management industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Portfolio Managers with portfolio management activities, including investment decisions, portfolio implementation, rebalances, transition events, and daily monitoring of investment portfolios.
• Work closely with the Alternatives team to support portfolio analysis, reporting, data review, and investment process activities linked to alternatives portfolios and related strategies.
• Run portfolio and performance analysis, attribution reporting, and ad hoc analysis to support investment commentary and monthly / quarterly client reporting.
• Partner with the investment team to improve investment processes, portfolio insights, and investment outcomes.
• Assist with research projects, model development, and analysis to support and validate the investment process.
• Liaise with internal technology teams to maintain and improve scalable investment infrastructure and reporting platforms.
• Support documentation of processes, procedures, controls, and recurring investment workflows.
• Ensure portfolios are monitored in line with investment guidelines and compliance requirements.
• Work with implementation and operations teams on account maintenance, set-up requirements, and ongoing portfolio support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Technology, Science, or a related discipline.
• 1–3 years of related investment experience, or experience in investment management, investment operations, consulting, financial services, or a related field.
• Interest in global financial markets, portfolio management, investment analysis, and asset allocation.
• Knowledge of quantitative investment practices, portfolio analysis, portfolio optimisation, or performance analysis would be helpful.
• Exposure to Alternatives, private markets, portfolio reporting, investment operations, or manager / fund-level analysis would be an advantage, but is not mandatory.
• Bloomberg experience, or the ability to quickly learn investment and technology systems, would be useful.
• Basic programming knowledge such as Python, R, SQL, or similar tools would be desirable.
• Strong Excel and analytical skills.
