What You Can Expect:
- Acquiring and developing new customers in the field of project logistics (air freight, sea freight and trucking).
- Taking account ownership of accounts and driving further development through cross and upselling.
- Doing market research, identifying new and potential customer leads.
- Building long-term relationships with clients and closely collaborating with regional sales functions, overseas logistics experts and local partners & operations team.

- Understanding market trends and consulting clients on finding best suitable solutions for their supply chain.
- Representing Rhenus professionally towards customers, vendors, chambers and other institutions.
- Preparing executive summaries, reports, proposals and presentations.
- Maintaining and updating the most relevant customer information in internal systems.
- Continuously driving for self-improvement and high quality
- Initial process of breaking down the RFQ/inquiry so that it can be sent out for vendor/sub-con quotation reply.
- Assist in the compilation of vendor/sub-con, for cost purpose.
- To complete all the RFQ for Tender Customers/Tender Management team. Ensuring our commitment to meet the deadline and achieving the set of expectations (KPI).
- Customer Relationship Management during project execution, aimed at securing repeat business.
- Support in the arrangement of operations schedule after a job is secured.
- Maintain relationships with current clients and identify new prospects.
- Prospecting targeted markets, pursuing leads and follow through to a successful agreement
- Assist in reports and other documentary duties Documentations checking.
- Liaise with Project Operations team for booking of break bulk/ barge/ container/ special equipment space, booking of special equipment i.e. crane, trailers, forklift, etc.
- Monitoring of the arrival or the mobilization of special equipment
- Any other ad-hoc assignment instructed by head of department.
What You Bring:
- Candidate must possess at least a bachelor’s degree or higher field.
- Minimum 5 years working experience in the related field.
- Familiar with project logistics industry.
- Proficient in both English and local language(s) – written and verbal communication skills.
- Possess customer service mindset and data analytical approach.
- Highly motivated to learn new processes, receive feedback and work independently.
- Excellent attention to detail and able to manage workloads effectively and meet deadlines.
- Minimal supervision to complete tasks, highly trainable and approachable.
- Professional working attitude.
- Local communication skills are an advantage.
