Supervisor-Drilling

Supervise the Well Drilling and Workover Operations (Well Site)

• Direct the execution of Rig drilling and workover operations in assigned Well Site - ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with the well drilling program, relevant standards and regulations.
• Arrange drilling rig service providers, and other disciplines to complement the requirements for the drilling operation.
• Prepare the drilling strategies, plans, schedules, and safety protocols to ensure they are executed accordingly for the drilling activity.
• Monitor drilling performance, manage resources, and make operational decisions to optimize efficiency and productivity.
• Coordinate with the drilling engineering team and drilling services to develop drilling plans and strategies.

Feasibility and Risk Analysis

• Conducts a more in-depth and proactive analysis in the different stages of the program prior execution
• Collaborates with rig service crew the identified potential risks and generate mitigating measures
• Reviews and reports a particular activity that has a significant contribution to the delay or downtime of the operation which requires improvement.
• Provides the Technical Group the initial analysis identifying key factors that must be considered in the conduct of technical investigation.
• Validates the result of the technical investigation including the recommendations for improvement
• Reviews the Memorandum of Change to document such revision in the standard practice.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting

• Prepares and submits detailed drilling operation situation and daily reports capturing all drilling activities, time duration, materials used, costs incurred and other relevant information.
• Consults with Superior on any issues or concerns that requires immediate attention or decision
• Prepares and submits drilling Incident Reports and HSE incident reports
• Regular collaboration with Supply Chain in the inventory of all consumables or tools
• Conduct extensive review and analysis after the completion of each well to determine all areas for improvement
• Reviews and evaluates the End-of-Well Reports prior submission to the Head Office
• Validates the performance of all 3rd party service providers for discussion with the Contractor.

Contractor Resource Management

• Leads the group in the long-term planning and projection on the availability of all drilling consumables and 3rd party drilling services at the project site
• Ensures optimum use of available resources to reduce the cost of inventory
• Ensures that all goods and consumables including 3rd party equipment and tools are technically compliant prior utilization
• Ensures the availability of contingent tools and consumables at the rig as proactive measure in preparation for any unwanted downhole situations to avoid rig downtime
• Captures all cost incurred in the daily basis and reported accordingly
• Ensures the efficient management of all rented tools and equipment, including 3rd party personnel to minimize cost

Data Management

• In-depth ability to collect and analyze information, problem-solve, and make decisions.
• Collaborates intensely with Superiors for any changes in the program and gives opinions/suggestions upon careful evaluation

Drilling Engineering

• Applies in-depth knowledge on all specialized drilling services (3rd parties) and other engineering principles in the day-to-day activities
• Establish proper Well Control are in place during the planning stage and in actual conduct of drilling and workover operations
• Strict adherence to Company HSE policies and promotes the culture of awareness and behavior to all site personnel by ensuring the conduct of all safety and emergency drills according to the program

People Management

• Promotes an atmosphere of Teamwork among the drilling staff, rig site personnel, service providers and other disciplines to ensure that wells are drilled and completed in a manner that focuses on meeting the objectives.
• Provides continuous guidance and mentors the new Rig personnel in all aspects of the technical works to enhance the development and growth and at the same time promote efficiency and avoid reworks.
• Ensures that all drilling personnel have a common understanding and buy-in towards the successful achievement of the program objectives.
