As a trusted advisor to Digital Workplace leadership, you will drive the enterprise end-user computing strategy—ensuring Windows platforms remain secure, compliant, reliable, and aligned with core business objectives. You will balance strategic planning with operational execution to deliver a secure, productive, and consistent experience for our hybrid workforce.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop a distributed team of 8–10 desktop engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and technical excellence.
- Drive the execution of the enterprise end-user computing strategy, establishing engineering standards, operational processes, and platform modernization initiatives.
- Partner closely with cross-functional teams—including Infrastructure, Information Security, Network, and Enterprise Operations—to deliver scalable, resilient endpoint solutions.
- Manage day-to-day operations, remove technical and organizational barriers, and oversee platform health, service performance, and operational stability.
Enterprise Endpoint Management & Modernization
- Oversee Windows endpoint management, device provisioning, operating system lifecycle management, and endpoint security capabilities for thousands of endpoints across multiple locations.
- Lead strategic initiatives including operating system upgrades (e.g., Windows 10 to 11 migrations), endpoint management modernization, and device lifecycle programs.
- Champion modern endpoint initiatives, leveraging technologies such as Microsoft Autopilot, Windows 365 Cloud PC, and Intune-first management strategies.
Technical Oversight & Operations
- Oversee zero-touch provisioning, configuration management, software distribution, patching, compliance, and co-management models using Microsoft SCCM/MECM and Microsoft Intune.
- Drive automation across endpoint operations using scripting tools (e.g., PowerShell, Python) to streamline workflows and enhance end-user experience.
- Ensure alignment with endpoint security best practices, including drive encryption, Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), identity management, OS hardening, and desktop networking standards (LAN/Wi-Fi, VPN, DNS/DHCP).
- Support virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) integration (e.g., Citrix, VMware Horizon, Azure Virtual Desktop) with the enterprise endpoint environment.
- Oversee enterprise testing strategies, pilot programs, proof-of-concept (POC) initiatives, and vendor technical evaluations to provide data-driven recommendations for platform and tooling decisions.

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
- Windows & Endpoint Mastery:
- Deep, hands-on knowledge of Windows OS deployment, imaging, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management in large enterprise environments supporting thousands of endpoints across hybrid models.
- Expert-level experience with Microsoft SCCM/MECM and Microsoft Intune, including software distribution, patching, compliance, and co-management models.
- Modern Endpoint Initiatives: Direct experience with modern EUC models, including Windows 365 Cloud PC, Windows Autopilot, Intune-first strategies, or major OS migrations.
- Automation & Scripting: Proven ability to automate endpoint operations using PowerShell, Python, or similar languages to support zero-touch provisioning and configuration management.
- Security & Networking: Solid grasp of endpoint security best practices (encryption, EDR, identity, hardening) and core desktop networking concepts (LAN/Wi-Fi, VPN, DNS/DHCP).
- VDI & Remote Computing: Strong understanding of virtual desktop technologies (Citrix, VMware Horizon, Azure Virtual Desktop) and their integration with endpoint environments.
- Leadership & Evaluation: Track record of leading enterprise testing strategies, pilot programs, vendor technical evaluations (POCs), and delivering data-driven platform recommendations.
