We're seeking a Warehouse Dispatch & Inventory Controller to join our Port of Brisbane team. This opportunity has become available due to an internal promotion, making it a great chance to join a supportive team and contribute to a critical part of our supply chain operations.

About the role

Reporting to the Logistics Manager, you will play an important role in ensuring accurate inventory management and on-time product dispatch. You'll work closely with internal teams, freight providers and customers to support efficient warehouse operations while maintaining high standards of safety, accuracy and service.

With a strong focus on Customer Centricity, you'll help ensure products are delivered accurately and on time. You'll demonstrate Innovation by identifying opportunities to improve inventory accuracy and warehouse processes, while embracing a One Team approach through collaboration with your colleagues across warehousing, logistics and customer-facing teams.

Key responsibilities include:

• Coordinating outbound freight and dispatch activities from the Port of Brisbane facility
• Supporting inventory control activities, including stock counts, discrepancy investigations and stock reconciliations
• Maintaining accurate inventory and warehouse records using business systems
• Ensuring products are packaged and dispatched in accordance with Bradken's Freight Policy
• Assisting with receipting inbound goods and daily invoicing requirements
• Supporting a safe, efficient and well-organised warehouse environment
• Participating in stock takes, toolbox meetings and continuous improvement activities

What you’ll bring:

You are a safety-focused warehouse professional who takes pride in accuracy, reliability and customer service. You enjoy working in a hands-on environment and can effectively manage competing priorities while maintaining attention to detail.

You will bring:

• A current Forklift Licence
•  Year 12 completion
•  Certificate II in Transport, Logistics, Warehousing, Manufacturing or a related discipline (desirable)
• Experience in a warehouse, dispatch, inventory or logistics environment
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Experience with inventory control and stock management processes
• The ability to follow documented procedures and work safely at all times
•  Strong written and verbal communication skills
• The physical capability to work on your feet and safely lift up to 20kg

This role is based in Port of Brisbane, QLD
