The Clinical Field Engineer, Hospital Automation is responsible for supporting the growth and successful implementation of Masimo’s Hospital Automation portfolio across the Benelux region. This role combines clinical and technical expertise with pre-sales support, customer engagement and cross-functional collaboration to develop opportunities and deliver automation and connectivity solutions in healthcare environments.

This position reports to the Sr Director, Benelux, Nordics & OEM Strategic Accounts, part of the Sales team in the Netherlands and will work remotely to support the Benelux region.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Partner with the Sales team to develop the funnel of opportunities and revenues related to the Hospital Automation portfolio, including lead generation, opportunity qualification, customer proposals, tenders and deal support.
• Conduct product demonstrations and presentations for clinical, technical and management audiences, including nurses, physicians, IT teams and biomedical engineers.
• Collaborate with Project Management, Delivery and Service teams on connectivity projects across Acute Care and Alternate Care environments and support the implementation and maintenance of Masimo solutions.
• Act as a customer advocate for Automation Solutions, connecting customer needs with Masimo’s clinical, marketing and engineering teams while collecting regional market insights and product feedback.
• Collaborate with third-party medical device and Hospital Information System / Electronic Medical Record companies to enable new Hospital Automation projects, and participate in relevant sales and marketing events.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education in healthcare sciences, information systems/information technology, biomedical engineering or a related field.
• Experience in informatics, including infrastructure, networks, databases or cloud computing, and/or hospital information technology.
• Experience in sales or pre-sales activities within healthcare, medical technology or a related environment.
• Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards, such as IHE and HL7, and understanding of hospital workflows and the healthcare ecosystem.
• Fluent Dutch and comfortable in English. Any additional language is an advantage.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

• Ability to travel within the Benelux region to support customers, projects, demonstrations and commercial activities.

• Must have a valid driver’s license and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Experience with hospital connectivity, automation solutions or clinical information systems.

This job is also eligible for incentive pay. The target earnings are determined as a percentage of annual base salary, subject to objective eligibility criteria and performance conditions as set out in the applicable scheme terms and conditions.
