Caregiver / CNA for Weekends

Description

Overture Home Care is seeking a compassionate and dependable caregiver to assist seniors at a senior living facility in Sachse, TX. This position involves providing personalized care through multiple short visits throughout the facility.

Schedule: Saturday and Sunday (Split Shift)

• Morning: 7:30 AM – 12:00 PM
• Evening: 4:00 PM – 8:30 PM
• Total: 18 hours per weekend with weekday availability as well

Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Provide toileting assistance, incontinence care, and brief changes as needed.
• Assist with safe transfers, repositioning, and mobility, including the use of walkers, wheelchairs, and other assistive devices.
• Provide assistance with getting in and out of bed and preparing residents for their daily routines.
• Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration as needed.
• Provide companionship, emotional support, and attentive care.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
• Observe and report changes in residents' physical condition, behavior, or overall well-being.
• Follow individualized care plans and accurately document services provided.

Requirements

 Qualifications:

• Previous caregiving experience preferred.
• Dependable, punctual, and comfortable working independently.
• Compassionate attitude and strong communication skills.
• Must be available for both shifts on Saturdays and Sundays.
