Operational Leadership

  • Provide leadership and direction to Team Leaders and production teams across the shift.
  • Translate departmental objectives into operational action plans and ensure successful execution.
  • Monitor operational performance trends and proactively implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Act as the highest operational authority during the assigned shift and make decisions regarding production priorities, staffing and resource allocation.
  • Support the Production Manager in workforce planning, capacity planning and organizational development.

Business Performance Management

  • Own shift performance against key operational indicators including Safety, Quality, Service, Cost, OEE and Productivity.
  • Lead structured performance reviews and develop action plans to close performance gaps.
  • Monitor labor efficiency, production costs and waste performance to drive operational profitability.
  • Support the development and execution of annual operational budgets and productivity targets.
  • Ensure efficient utilization of people, equipment and materials to achieve business objectives.

Continuous Improvement and Operational Excellence

  • Lead and facilitate Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing initiatives across the production area.
  • Drive OEE, yield and productivity improvement programs.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of recurring operational issues and implement sustainable corrective actions.
  • Lead Kaizen events and structured problem-solving activities.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence across all teams.

Strategic Production Management

  • Analyze production data, trends and operational risks to identify future improvement opportunities.
  • Develop and execute improvement roadmaps aligned with departmental and site objectives.
  • Support the implementation of new technologies, automation initiatives and production systems.
  • Drive standardization of best practices across teams and shifts.
  • Participate in strategic manufacturing projects and business transformation initiatives.

People Leadership & Talent Development

  • Coach, mentor and develop Team Leaders to strengthen leadership capability and operational effectiveness.
  • Build and maintain succession plans for key operational positions.
  • Identify high-potential employees and support their development through structured development plans.
  • Foster a high-performance culture based on accountability, engagement and continuous learning.
  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, performance management and employee development activities.

Cross Functional Leadership

  • Partner closely with Quality, Supply Chain, Warehouse, Maintenance, Engineering and HR to optimize plant performance.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for significant operational issues.
  • Lead operational preparation for audits, customer visits and compliance inspections
  • Ensure alignment between production and supporting departments to maximize customer service and operational efficiency.

Project Leadership

  • Lead cross-functional operational improvement projects.
  • Manage implementation of site improvement initiatives and monitor project benefits realization.
  • Support CAPEX projects and equipment investments from an operational perspective.
  • Drive innovation and best-practice implementation within the manufacturing operation.

Compensation:

Monthly salary between €4,100 and €5,000
