The Financial Accounting Intern is responsible for providing overall support to the Financial Planning and Analysis Director as well as the overall Finance Department. The ideal candidate must be proficient in the use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: Enrolled in an accredited institution and actively working toward a Bachelor’s degree in a Accounting discipline is preferred or related field. CPA preferred
Travel: None
Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday- Friday. However, work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assists with change order budgets.
- Assists with van inventory cycle counts, analysis and transfers.
- Assists with expense validation for project job costs.
- Assists with expense validation for the prevailing wage trust.
- Prepare spend analysis for select expense accounts.
- Assists with monthly reporting, including general ledger reports.
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
