Automotive Service Advisor – Quick Lane & Tires

Stuteville Chevrolet of Durant is looking for an experienced, customer-focused Quick Lane & Tire Service Advisor to join our team!

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, has a strong understanding of automotive maintenance and tire services, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. As a Quick Lane & Tire Service Advisor, you will be the primary point of contact for customers, helping them understand their vehicle's maintenance needs, recommending appropriate services, and ensuring a positive service experience from start to finish.

We offer a base salary plus uncapped commission, providing excellent earning potential for a motivated individual who delivers outstanding customer service and builds lasting customer relationships.

What You'll Do

• Greet customers promptly and professionally, providing a welcoming and positive service experience.

• Assist customers with tire purchases, oil changes, routine maintenance, and other automotive service needs.

• Listen to customer concerns, assess service needs, and accurately document information on repair orders.

• Recommend appropriate maintenance services, tire options, and additional repairs based on vehicle needs and manufacturer recommendations.

• Prepare and explain accurate estimates for parts, labor, and services.

• Coordinate with service technicians to ensure work is completed accurately and efficiently.

• Monitor service progress, manage customer expectations, and provide timely updates on vehicle status and completion times.

• Review completed services with customers, explain charges, and process payments.

• Maintain organized repair orders and ensure accurate documentation of services performed.

• Build customer trust and loyalty through honest recommendations, clear communication, and exceptional service.

• Work closely with the service team to maintain an efficient workflow and achieve departmental goals.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum of 1 year of automotive Service Advisor experience required.

• Knowledge of automotive maintenance, tire products, and common vehicle service needs.

• Strong customer service, communication, and sales skills.

• Ability to confidently explain recommended services and repair estimates to customers.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a team-oriented approach.

• Comfortable using computers and automotive service software.

• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

• Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles preferred.
