Saints Peter and Paul Catholic School is seeking a substitute school nurse to provide nursing coverage as needed during the school day.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide basic health and first-aid services to students and staff.
- Assess and respond to student illnesses, injuries, and medical needs.
- Administer medications and follow individual student health plans as needed.
- Communicate with parents/guardians and school staff regarding student health concerns.
- Maintain appropriate health and medical records.
- Support a safe and healthy school environment for students in PK–8.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Current nursing license (RN or LPN) in Illinois.
- Previous school nursing or pediatric experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with students, families, and staff.
- Commitment to supporting the mission and values of Saints Peter and Paul Catholic School.
