Housekeeping Staff (Part Time)

The Summit YMCA, a branch of the Summit Area YMCA (SAY), is seeking a dependable, energetic part-time Housekeeping Team Member who takes pride in their work and enjoys helping others.

What You’ll Do:

• Clean and maintain lobbies, locker rooms, restrooms, fitness areas, and other shared spaces.
• Perform daily cleaning tasks, including mopping, vacuuming, dusting, disinfecting, removing trash, and replenishing supplies.
• Safely use cleaning equipment and materials in accordance with training, OSHA requirements, and YMCA standards.
• Report maintenance needs, safety concerns, and supply shortages.
• Assist with special cleaning projects and other housekeeping needs.
• Model YMCA values through friendly, respectful interactions with members, guests, and coworkers.

Schedule & Compensation:

This part-time position requires availability for both of the following shifts:

• Sunday: 7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
• Monday: 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m.

The pay range is $18.00–$22.00 per hour, based on experience.

Requirements

• A High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in housekeeping duties.
• Experience working with the public is desirable.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Minimum age requirement is 18 years old.
