As a Security Officer Full Time Front Desk Security Host in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional in a premier commercial real estate location, you will welcome visitors, manage access control and badge processes, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. - Provide a professional, welcoming presence at the front desk of a commercial real estate location, assisting tenants, visitors, vendors, and clients with access procedures and general information.
- Monitor visitor activity, maintain accurate visitor and contractor records, issue temporary access credentials as directed, and communicate arrival notifications to appropriate building contacts.
- Carry out site-specific security-related procedures, including reviewing access requests, monitoring lobby conditions, and reporting unusual activity or policy concerns.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Maintain clear written logs and incident reports, and coordinate with building management, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
